Delete Your Account

Last updated: September 2026

You can delete your FitterEater account and all of its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. From inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open FitterEater and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to Settings → Your Data → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and server-side data are removed immediately, and the copy on that device is cleared at the same time.

2. If you can't open the app

Email support@fittereater.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request against that address and permanently delete your account and its data within 30 days — usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials.
  • Your subscription record and API usage counters.
  • All fitness data backed up through Cloud Sync (meals, workouts, supplements, weight and body measurements, analyses, planned workouts, profile, and coaching history).
  • The tracking data stored locally on your device is cleared when you delete from inside the app. If you delete by email after uninstalling, that on-device data was already removed with the app.

What is kept, and for how long

After deletion, we retain only two things. First, records we are legally required to keep (for example, payment and transaction records, which are held by Google Play and our payment processor and which you manage through your Google account). Second, a single anti-abuse marker — a pseudonymous identifier from your sign-in provider — so the same identity can't repeatedly claim a new free trial by deleting and recreating an account; it contains no email, name, or fitness data.

Your body photos and meal photos are never stored on our servers. Some are sent to our EU-hosted AI service for on-demand analysis (meal recognition, or comparing two progress photos) and discarded immediately after — so there is nothing server-side to delete.

Note: if you only let your Pro subscription lapse without deleting your account, your synced data is kept for 60 days so you can renew without losing it, then permanently deleted.

Stopping subscription billing

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription's billing on its own. To stop future charges, cancel auto-renew in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions before or after you delete your account.
